ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BLUEBIRD GOLDFINCH WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT NO. 18-A3 OPWC PROJECT NO. CJ14X COUNTY OF BUTLER BUTLER COUNTY GOVERNMENT SERVICES CENTER 315 HIGH STREET HAMILTON, OHIO 45011 Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Board of Butler County Commissioners, Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, 6th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 until 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Such bids shall be opened and read aloud in the Butler County Commissioners Chambers, Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, 2nd Floor, Hamilton, Ohio at 10:45 a.m., in accordance with specifications. The Contract involves furnishing all labor and materials required to install approximately 10,033' of 6" ductile iron water main and appurtenances. Plans and specifications are on file at the office of the Butler County Water and Sewer Department, Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, 5th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio. Copies of the Bidding Documents and Specifications may be obtained at ARC, 4219 Malsbary Dr., Blue Ash, OH 45242, on the web at www.e-arc.com/oh/cincinnati or at Phone 513- 326-2300, Toll Free 800-966-2260, or Fax 513-326-2312. The Advertisement for Bids may be obtained on-line at http://www.butlercountyohio.org/ commissioner Each bid must contain the full name and street address of the bidder, a signed Non-Collusion Affidavit, a signed Personal Property Tax Affidavit, and a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bids shall be sealed and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the package "BIDS FOR BLUEBIRD GOLDFINCH WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT." Failure to submit bid proposals in conformance with the Contract Documents will result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Attention of Bidders is called to all requirements contained in the contract Documents, particularly to the State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Bid Conditions of OPWC-Assisted Construction Projects. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage & Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Engineer's estimate for the base bid is $2,172,466.51. The right is reserved by the County to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders.
