ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF SPRINGFIELD WATER TREATMENT PLANT CONCRETE REPAIRS AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SECONDARY CLARIFIERS AND EFFLUENT DIVERSION CONCRETE REPAIRS Notice is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received in the Office of the Purchasing Agent, located on the fourth floor of City Hall, 76 E. High St., Springfield, Ohio, until 12:00 noon, local time, Friday, March 13th, 2020. The work consists of concrete repairs at the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Said bid submitted shall comply strictly to the specifications and instructions to bidders prepared by the Director of Finance and now on file in the Office of the Purchasing Agent for use by the prospective bidders. Copies of the bid may be obtained by emailing Brandy Bubp at bbubp@springfieldohio.gov or by visiting the following link, https://springfieldohio.gov/ government/finance/. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities and technical defects of a minor nature. This bid will be subject to all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and rules. Said work shall be subjected to the prevailing rate of wages as established by the Ohio Department of Commerce. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING INFORMATION: A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th, 2020, beginning at 9:00 AM, local time. The meeting will begin at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 965 Dayton Ave., Springfield, OH 45506. Upon the conclusion of the meeting at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the pre-bid meeting and site visit for the Water Treatment Plant will be held at, 201 Eagle City Road, Springfield, OH 45502. Due to the importance of bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications and requirements of this bid, attendance will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Prospective bidders are required to attend the meetings at both the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Water Treatment Plant. Attendance at the pre-bid meetings will be documented by bidders signature on the attendance register at both meeting locations.
