ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Route 4 Water Main Replacement Project PROJECT NO.18-A1 COUNTY OF BUTLER BUTLER COUNTY GOVERNMENT SERVICES CENTER 315 HIGH STREET HAMILTON, OHIO 45011 Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Butler County, Ohio on the 6th Floor of the Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio until 10:30 a.m. local time on June 18, 2019, and will be opened and read aloud at 10:45 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Commissioners' Conference Room on the 6th Floor. The Contract involves furnishing all labor and materials required to install approximately 8,760 feet of 12" ductile iron watermain and appurtenances. Plans and specifications are on file at the office of the Butler County Water and Sewer Department, Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, 5th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio. Copies of the Bidding Documents and Specifications may be obtained at ARC Cincinnati, 2863 E. Sharon Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45241, on the web at, or at Phone 513- 326-2300, Toll Free 800-966-2260, or Fax 513-326-2312. The Advertisement for Bids may be obtained on-line at commissioner. Each bid must contain the full name and street address of the bidder, a signed Non-Collusion Affidavit, a signed Personal Property Tax Affidavit, and a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bids shall be sealed and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the package "BIDS FOR ROUTE 4 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT." Failure to submit bid proposals in conformance with the Contract Documents will result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Attention of Bidders is called to all requirements contained in the contract Documents, particularly to the State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Bid Conditions of OPWC-Assisted Construction Projects. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage & Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Engineer's estimate for the base bid is $1,276,562.65. The right is reserved by the County to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders.
