Contract #2019-03 Concrete Rehabilitation for Department of Public

CONTRACT #2019-03 CONCRETE REHABILITATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS CITY OF MONROE, OHIO Sealed bids will be received by the City of Monroe Department of Public Works, 1000 Holman Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050, until ten (2:00) o'clock P.M., local time, on Thursday, April 25th, 2019, at which time the bids will be opened for the construction of the following: Concrete replacement, including curbs and gutter and drive aprons for the following streets: Wicklow Lane, Tarryton Court, Fox Run Place, Ridgeway Court and W.K. Robinson Drive. This project will also include the replacement of catch basins and storm sewer pipe, as needed, on Wicklow Lane, Tarryton Court, Fox Run Place and W.K. Robinson Drive. All projects shall be completed with topsoil, seed and straw and the contractor is responsible for maintenance of traffic control at all times during construction. No road closures will be permitted. The work shall commence within 30 calendar days of the acceptance of the contract proposal. The Contract Documents, including Project Specifications, are available for pick up at the Monroe Department of Public Works, 1000 Holman Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a fee of Fifty Dollars ($50 NON-REFUNDABLE) for each set of specifications. Checks shall be made payable to the "City of Monroe". Contact Jordan Parker at parkerj@monroeohio.org with any questions. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, properly identified with the bidder's name, Contract number, bid opening date and a statement that it is a sealed bid covering the services for which the bid is submitted. Bids shall be addressed to the Monroe Department of Public Works, 1000 Holman Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Monroe, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The City of Monroe reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Monroe, Ohio.
