CONTRACT #2019-07 S.R. 4 FIRE HOUSE SANITARY SEWER LATERAL FOR DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS CITY OF MONROE, OHIO Sealed bids will be received by the City of Monroe Department of Public Works, 1000 Holman Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050, until one (1:00) o'clock P.M., local time, on Friday, December 6th, 2019, at which time the bids will be opened for the construction of the following: A proposed sanitary sewer lateral extension along with the abandonment of the existing septic tank. This project consists of a proposed 6" sewer lateral with clean-outs, abandonment of the existing septic system along with all electrical components, removal of the existing mound media and soil for the septic system, abandonment of the existing grease trap, asphalt driveway restoration, clearing and grubbing, and topsoil, seeding and mulching. The work shall commence within 30 calendar days of the acceptance of the contract proposal. The Contract Documents, including Project Specifications, are available for pick up at Monroe Public Works Department, 1000 Holman Avenue, Monroe, OH 45050, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a fee of Fifty Dollars ($50 NON-REFUNDABLE) for each set of plans and specifications. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, properly identified with the bidder's name, contract number, bid-opening date and a statement that it is a sealed bid covering the services for which the bid is¬ submitted. Bids shall be addressed to the Monroe Department of Public Works, 1000 Holman Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Monroe, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The City of Monroe reserves the right to reject any, and all, proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Monroe, Ohio.
