EDGEWOOD CITY SCHOOLS BOARD OF EDUCATION NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice to Bidders Separate, sealed bids for each of the requirements set forth below will be received at the Edgewood City Schools Board of Education, 3045 Busenbark Road, Trenton, Ohio 45067 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time Monday, September 23, 2019, and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter at the usual place of meeting, and a report thereof made to the board at their next meeting. The intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete the PRIMARY HEALTH SOLUTIONS PROPOSED MEDICAL CLINIC TENANT FINISH AT EDGEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL, 3045 Busenbark Rd. Trenton, Ohio 45067 for a Single Prime contract, in accordance with the construction documents. Work of this proposed General Contract comprises new finished interior non-bearing wall construction, new casework, new electrical system installations, new lighting, new plumbing installations, new mechanical system installations, new suspended ceiling systems, new flooring systems, new exterior means of egress door, new in-fill within existing glass / aluminum storefront systems at interior of tenant space, new doors and hardware, new room finishes including painting. A mandatory Pre-Bid walk-through to be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Detailed specifications and bid forms are available for purchase at the bidder's expense at Minutemen Press, 223 Court Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, (513) 863-3393 and on Dodge Reports (dodgeprojects.construction.com). Bids shall be submitted on the Section 00410 - Bid Form included in the Specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee meeting requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Said guarantee may be in the form of a bond (ORC 153.571) or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit meeting requirements of 153.54. Bids received after the time and date set for bid opening will be returned to the bidder unopened. The said Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, and to accept or reject any and all, or parts of any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The probable construction cost estimate for this work $300,000.00.
