LEGAL AD AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Board of Butler County Commissioners, Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, 6th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 until 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 and will be opened and read aloud at 10:45 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Commissioners' Conference Room on the 6th Floor in the Butler County Government Services Center, in accordance with specifications for purchase of real property "235 North Dooley St. 513 House & Lot (45x100), Hawkinsville, Georgia" (described as 513 N. Dooly Street on deed 2004-321 as recorded on February 26, 2004 in Book 213, Folio 814-815.) Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Board of Butler County Commissioners; by query at www.butlercountyohio.org/ commissioner. The Board of Butler County Commissioners has determined the real property listed shall have a starting minimum bid of One ($1.00) dollar. A certified check, official bank check, or money order payable to the Board of Butler County Commissioners in the full amount of the bid is required. (Personal checks and cash are not acceptable). All bids will be considered with preference to the highest bidder. Should multiple bids, at the starting minimum, be submitted, consideration will be granted to chronological submission. Should the winning bid meet or exceed $2,000.00 a certified check, official bank check, or money order (personal checks and cash are not acceptable), payable to the Board of Butler County Commissioners in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid for the real property listed, may be submitted in lieu of full payment provided that the successful bidder shall pay the balance of the successful bid within 30 days of the date of the bid opening. Final payment shall be paid by certified check, official bank check or money order, payable to the Board of Butler County Commissioners. Bidders are required to complete and submit with bid ALL forms that are included with the specifications packet. Bidders are required to use the forms furnished by the County when submitting their bid. The packet will include an acknowledgement of responsibility regarding title to the property. The Board of Butler County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the County as determined by the Board, and to hold bids valid for sixty (60) days from the bid date. Bids are to be SEALED and delivered to the office of the Board of Butler County Commissioners, and each bid shall bear on its face the name and address of the bidder and shall be plainly marked "Bid on 235 North Dooley St. 513 House & Lot (45x100), Hawkinsville, Georgia".
