LEGAL NOTICE OF CITY OF HAMILTON, OHIO 20-25 HEP Sanitary & Detention Basin Relocation 2020 Electronic bids will be received through Bid Express by the City of Hamilton, Ohio ("Owner"), until 2:00 pm, local time, on Thursday July 9, 2020, at which time bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter at One Renaissance Center 345 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 for furnishing of all necessary permits, labor, material, and services necessary for: 20-25 HEP Sanitary & Detention Basin Relocation Project (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by City of Hamilton ("Design Professional"). Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). In general, the improvements for which bids are requested will consist of the following: Install approximately 1000-LF of 15" and 100-LF of 12" sanitary sewer and construct storm water basin. Includes 59,000-CY of excavation as per HEP Sanitary & Detention Basin Relocation 2020 drawings. Notice is also posted on the City's web site, www.hamilton-city.org click on Services then Bids & Quotes, or by query directly at www.bidexpress.com. The electronic bids can only be submitted through Bid Express and must be electronically endorsed by the Bidder. Contract documents are available through the Bid Express Website at: www.bidexpress.com. Registration with Bid Express is free and allows for the Bidder to review, download, and print all contract documents. A digital ID along with a per bid fee of $25.00 or a $50.00 monthly subscription will be required for the Bidder to submit an electronic bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a prevailing wage project. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s).
