LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Miami County Commissioners will: Receive sealed bids for the Miami County 2019 Cabling Upgrade Project at the office of the Board of Miami County Commissioners (BOCC), located in the Miami County Safety Building, 201 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373 until 1:35pm Eastern Standard Time, on September 26, 2019. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 1:35pm local time, by the Clerk of the BOCC. A mandatory (for all bidders) pre-bid conference is scheduled for 1:00pm, September 16, 2019 to be held at the Miami County Commissioners Office located at 201 W Main St Troy, Ohio 45373. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference may be cause for rejection of a Bid. A walk through of all buildings in the scope of work will be completed at this meeting. Contract bidding documents (the "Bid Package") may be obtained on the County website at https://www.miami countyohio.gov/bids. Bids must be signed and submitted on the provided bidding forms and sealed in a properly identified envelope marked: Miami County 2019 Cabling Upgrade Project. Each bidder must submit one (1) printed original and two (2) copies, and one (1) electronic copy on CD or USB memory stick of each bid. Bid security shall be provided in accordance with the requirements detailed in the Bid Package. Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the Bid Package. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Bid Package. The minimum wage to be paid for any and all classes of labor employed on this contract shall conform to the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations in accordance with Section 4115, Ohio Revised Code. See section 7: Appendix B Prevailing Wages. Each bidder must ensure that no employee and applicant for employment is discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or military veteran status. The Board of Miami County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any of the bids received, and to accept or reject any or all bids at any time within sixty (60) days following the date established for the receipt of bids. The Board of Miami County Commissioners reserves the right to determine which bid is, in the judgment of the Board of Miami County Commissioners, the lowest and best bid pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code.
