VANDALIA-BUTLER CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of Vandalia-Butler City Schools will be accepting bids from general contractors for all material, labor and services necessary in connection with the SAC Sound System Upgrades (the "Project") located at 600 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia, Ohio 45377 with an estimated budget of $75,000.00. Interested general contractors should submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their fully completed and signed Bid Proposal, along with all required documentation, in a sealed envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL: Proposal for SAC Sound System Upgrades Project to the office of the Board of Education, 500 S. Dixie Drive Vandalia, Ohio 45377, Attn: Eric Beavers, by August 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. (EST) and the bids will be opened and read aloud thereafter. There will be a mandatory walk-thru on August 14, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Board of Education offices during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and are also posted on the Board's website in accordance with O.R.C. Section 7.12 at http://www.vbcsd.com and can be accessed by selecting the link labeled "Notice to Bidders". All questions shall be submitted via email to Eric Beavers at eric.beavers@vbcsd.com. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in accordance with O.R.C. Section 153.54 and in the forms proscribed in O.R.C. Sections 153.57 and 153.571. The School District will award the Project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, however, the School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid received and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of the bids. Any Bid Proposal received after the above referenced time and date will be returned to the submitter unopened. 8-4, 8-11/2019
