CITY OF FAIRFIELD LEGISLATION SUMMARY NO. 13-2020 Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on July 13, 2020. A complete text may be viewed at the following Fairfield locations: Fairfield Municipal Building (Room 138), Fairfield Lane Public Library, Fairfield YMCA, Fairfield Community Arts Center, and the Wildwood Manor House. Ord. 52-20 Declare thirteen (13) city motor vehicles and pieces of city equipment, sixty-eight (68) Motorola radios and associated equipment, and one (1) vehicle lift as surplus and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with GovDeals.com to sell the motor vehicles, equipment, radios and associated equipment and one vehicle lift. Ord. 53-20 Amend subsections (a) and (e) of Section 163.19 of Chapter 163, Employee Provisions, of Ordinance No. 166-84, the Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio governing benefits for the Clerk of Court/Court Administrator position and declaring an emergency. Ord. 54-20 Contractual Appropriations: $10,000 for concrete repairs following water and sewer system repair work (existing contract) Ord. 55-20 Non-Contractual Appropriations: $48,800 for engineering services for evaluation of sewer plant improvements; $5,500 for Municipal Building landscape and grass maintenance; $5,000 for Lane Library repairs; $11,890 for Seward Tank tree removal services; $49,510 for water metering improvements on Merlin Drive (multiple vendors); $29,000 for Water Treatment Plant clarifier desludge valves; $14,000 for Water Treatment Plant electrical improvements; $29,000 for crack sealing; $53,304 for outfitting and graphics of 4 police patrol vehicles (multiple vendors); $7,000 for radios for Public Utilities Wastewater Division; $10,000 for Parks Buildings repairs and upgrades; $5,000 for security upgrades at Justice Center. Res. 10-20 Adopting the tax budget of the City of Fairfield, Ohio, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2021 and submitting the same to the Butler County Auditor and declaring an emergency. 7-17/2020
