CITY OF FAIRFIELD LEGISLATION SUMMARY NO. 14-2020 Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on July 27, 2020. A complete text may be viewed at the following Fairfield locations: Fairfield Municipal Building (Room 138), Fairfield Lane Public Library, Fairfield YMCA, Fairfield Community Arts Center, and the Wildwood Manor House. Ord. 56-20 Adopt new Section 1143.261 and Subsection 1157.04(f) and amend Subsection 1157.04(e) of the Planning and Zoning Code of Ordinance No. 166-84, the Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio. Ord. 57-20 Contract with Vogelpohl Fire Equipment for the Purchase of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Related Equipment and declaring an emergency. Ord. 58-20 Contract with Majors Enterprises, Inc for the construction of the 2020 Rita Mae and Muskopf Drive Relief Storm Sewer Improvement Project. Ord. 59-20 Contract with Barry Brown Paving, LLC for the Boymel Drive and Route 4 Improvements Project. Ord. 60-20 Contractual Appropriations: $7,500 for concrete repairs following water system work (existing contract); $721,225 for Rita Mae and Muskopf Storm Sewer Improvements; $311,366 for 2020 Boymel improvements; $279,000 for purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus and related equipment for Fire Department. Ord. 61-20 Non-Contractual Appropriations: $15,000 for natural gas line installation at sewer plant; $49,965 for purchase of Ford F-350 (Wastewater). Res. 11-20 Resolution establishing a street infrastructure sustainability plan for the maintenance of city streets, roads and related infrastructure. 7-31/2020
