CITY OF FAIRFIELD LEGISLATION SUMMARY NO. 16-2020 Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on September 14, 2020. A complete text may be viewed at the following Fairfield locations: Fairfield Municipal Building (Room 138), Fairfield Lane Public Library, Fairfield YMCA, Fairfield Community Arts Center, and the Wildwood Manor House. Ord. 72-20 Electric Vehicle Charging Station Grant Application and Agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) for the Fairfield Community Arts Center and declaring an emergency. Ord. 73-20 Application for financial assistance and enter into an agreement with ODOT for a grant to fund a major portion of the Route 4/Seward Road Improvement Project and declaring an emergency. Ord. 74-20 Contract with Ferguson Waterworks for water meters and an automated meter reading system, and declaring an emergency. Ord. 75-20 Contractual Appropriations: $250,000 for water meters and advanced automated meter reading system. Ord. 76-20 Non-Contractual Appropriations: $32,985 for golf course maintenance and improvements; $37,500 for IT- Video surveillance archivers; $10,000 for cameras for Central Traffic System; $14,500 for High Service Pump 6 Rebuild; $44,931 for Energy Management Software upgrade; $19,000 for clarifier walkway repairs; $27,000 for raw water well 8 pump; $15,000 for miscellaneous traffic signal upgrades/ spare parts; $10,720 for permanent radar signs for two school zones; $8,800 for Turblex Blower service at Wastewater Treatment Plant; $42,650 for Network Infrastructure (multiple vendors). Res. 12-20 Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. 9-18/2020
