City of Franklin, Ohio Notice of Ordinance Levying Assessments On August 5, 2019, the Council of the City of Franklin, Ohio, adopted Ordinance 2019-05 levying special assessments upon benefited property for the improvement of City streets and public ways by the lighting thereof for the year 2020. The Ordinance provides that the assessments against each lot and parcel of land assessed may be paid in cash within thirty days from the date of passage of the Ordinance, and if not paid in cash within such period shall be certified to the County Auditor for collection in two semi-annual installments. The assessments levied by the Ordinance are filed in the office of the Clerk of Council of the City for inspection and examination by interested persons.
