NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution adopted by Hamilton Township, Warren County, Ohio, passed on the 19th day of June 2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of November 2019, the question. An additional tax for the benefit of the Township of Hamilton for the purpose of providing and maintaining motor vehicles, communications, other equipment, buildings, and sites for such buildings used directly in the operation of a police department, for the payment of salaries of permanent or part-time police, communications, or administrative personnel to operate the same, including the payment of any employer contributions required for such personnel under section 145.48 or 742.33 of the Revised Code, for the payment of the costs incurred by townships as a result of contracts made with other political subdivisions in order to obtain police protection, for the provision of ambulance or emergency medical services operated by a police department, or for the payment of other related costs, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2019 first due in calendar year 2020. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day By order of the Board of Elections, of Warren County, Ohio.
