NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of the Mason City School District, Counties of Warren and Butler, Ohio, passed on the 10th day of December 2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 17th day of March, 2020, the question of levying an additional tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Mason City School District for the purpose of current expenses, the aggregate rate of which may increase in one increment of not more than 5.25 mills for each dollar of valuation, from an original rate of 4.71 mills which amounts to $0.471 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, to a maximum rate of 9.96 mills for each dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.996 for each one hundred dollars of valuation? The original tax is first proposed to be levied in 2020, and the incremental tax in 2021. The aggregate rate of tax so authorized will be in effect for a continuing period of time. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day By order of the Board of Elections, of Warren County, Ohio.
