REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS: WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS The West Chester Township Board of Trustees is requesting that residents interested in serving on the West Chester Township Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) submit a letter of interest and resume to: West Chester Township Community Development Department 9577 Beckett Road, Suite 100 West Chester, Ohio 45069 Or email: bworley@westchesteroh.org The deadline for submittal is FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2019. Please specify as to which Board you are applying. The Board of Trustees will appoint one member to fill an expired five-year term and one member to fill an expired three-year alternate term on the BZA. Candidate interviews are currently scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, May 7. The responsibilities of the BZA are described in Article 8 of the West Chester Township Zoning Resolution and generally involve the review of requests for variances, special exceptions, conditional uses, administrative appeals, and interpretations of the Zoning Resolution. To be eligible for a position on the BZA, the applicant must be a resident of West Chester Township. Interested persons wishing to review the responsibilities of the BZA may obtain a copy of the West Chester Township Zoning Resolution online at www.WestChesterOH.org or at the Community Development Department during business hours (M-F, 8:30 am-4:30 pm).
