Termination of Mayoral Proclamation and Executive Order

TERMINATION OF MAYORAL PROCLAMATION AND EXECUTIVE ORDER AND AMENDMENTS 1-3 In an effort to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus, City of Springfield Mayor Warren R. Copeland issued a Mayoral Proclamation and Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency beginning March 16, 2020, thereby suspending purchasing and contracting requirements and regularly scheduled public meetings. Amendments were also issued addressing essential business functions of the City government, virtual meetings, and a temporary curfew on June 1-June 3, 2020. On October 6, 2020, Mayor Copeland signed the termination of the above-stated Mayoral Proclamation and Executive Order allowing for public meetings and regular operations of the City government to resume. The entire Executive Order, Amendments 1-3, and the Termination are available on the city's website at www.springfieldohio.gov, and the originals are signed and filed in the City Clerk's Office.
