Legal Notice of Public Hearing the Hamilton City

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Hamilton City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday evening, September 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the City Building located at 345 High Street. The agenda for this hearing includes the following item: SITE: The Reserves at Sterling Estates Subdivision 1665 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio (Parcel Numbers #P6412171000001, P6412171000002, P6412171000014, and P6412171000015) APPLICANT: Michael Sawyers per Sawyers Builders, Applicant REQUEST: The applicant is requesting the following: (1) to change the zoning on 1665 Millville Avenue from a R-1 (Single-Family Residential) District to RPD (Residential Planned Development) District; and (2) Preliminary Plat for the proposed new phase of subdivision. This hearing concerns two (2) specific requests pertaining to the development of the Reserves of Sterling Estates. The Reserves of Sterling Estates is a new development that is proposed for existing vacant land that is currently part of Sterling Estates Subdivision, which was originally approved in 2005. The proposed development would allow for the construction of single-family homes on lots that are substantially larger and more rural in character than the original approved development plan resulting in a much lower density of development. An application for this project is on file and available for your review at the Planning Department located at 345 High Street, Suite 350.
