Notice of Public Hearing & Draft Consolidated Plan

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING & DRAFT CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR PUBLIC REVIEW The Butler County Consolidated Plan is the strategic planning document that addresses the community development needs throughout Butler County, as well as the housing assistance and public service needs for Butler County and the City of Middletown under the HOME Consortium. The Draft Consolidated Plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or about August 10, 2020. The funds distributed within the Entitlement Program are to benefit low to moderate income persons. Butler County will make the Draft Consolidated Plan available for public review for a period of fifteen (15) days. Written comments must be received by August 7, 2020 to be considered. The Draft Consolidated Plan can be reviewed from July 24, 2020 to August 7, 2020 at the following locations: Butler County Community Development; Butler County Administration Building, 130 High Street, Hamilton, OH 45011; Middletown Department of Community Revitalization, One Donham Plaza, Middletown OH 45042; Online: development.bcohio.us The County of Butler will hold a public hearing on August 3, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. local time in the Commissioners' Hearing Room on the Second floor of the Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio. The public hearing will be held for approval of the Consolidated Plan and activities contained within for final submittal to HUD. Butler County will provide assistance to persons with disabilities needing interpreters or other auxiliary aids and services in order to participate in this hearing. Any request for such assistance must be made no later than 72 hours in advance of the hearing, by contacting the Community Development Division at (513) 785-5391.
