Tobias 70th Wedding Anniversary Mac and Lois Tobias

TOBIAS 70TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mac and Lois Tobias, Lakeland, FL, formerly of Middletown, Ohio, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with immediate family while social distancing and following Covid protocol. Mr. Tobias and his wife, the former Lois Jean Walke, were married on March 31, 1951, at First United Methodist Church, Middletown, Ohio. The couple's children and spouses are Piper and Peter Mislovic, Lakeland, FL; Scott and Bonnie Tobias, Middletown, Ohio, and Tim Tobias, Columbus, Ohio. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren complete the family. Mr. Tobias was employed by Tobias Photography until his retirement. He was owner/operator of the family business for over 50 years. He was a member of Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Ohio, Ohio Society of Professional Photographers, the Lions Club, and many other community organizations. He also served during World War II in Germany as part of the Army's 78th Division, 315th Regiment. He also worked part time for Animal Control with the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Mrs. Tobias was employed by Middletown City Schools for 20 years. She also taught swimming lessons to physically challenged students at the YMCA. The couple has contributed many hours of volunteer service to their community over the years and are members in the American Legion Post #4 in Lakeland.
