Notice to Bidders the Board of Trustees

NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Trustees for MidPointe Library System (the "Board") will be accepting bids from general contractors for all material, labor and services related to LED lighting upgrades at the Middletown Library Branch located at 125 S. Broad Street, Middletown, OH 45044 (the "Project") with an estimated budget of $129,408.00* and will be opened and read aloud thereafter. Interested general contractors should submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their fully completed and signed Bid Proposal, along with all required documentation, in a sealed envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL: Proposal for LED Lighting Upgrades Project" to Deborah Preston, Fiscal Officer of MidPointe Library System, 125 S. Broad Street, Middletown, OH 45044, on or before Monday, June 17, 2019 at noon (EST) when all Bids will be opened and read aloud. All proposals shall be tabulated and computed and a report thereof made to the MidPointe Library System Board at its next Board meeting (June 18, 2019) for review. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m. at the MidPointe Library Middletown Branch located at 125 S. Broad Street (Board Room), Middletown, Ohio 45044. Bidding documents may be obtained from the all Library offices during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and are also posted on the State's website in accordance with O.R.C. Section 7.12 at https://bidexpress.com. All questions shall be submitted via email to Travis Bautz at tbautz@midpointelibrary.org. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in accordance with O.R.C. Section 153.54 and in the forms proscribed in O.R.C. Sections 153.57 and 153.571. The Board will award the Project to the lowest and best bidder, however, the Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid received and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of the bids. Any Bid Proposal received after the above referenced time and date will be returned to the submitter unopened. *Not including utility rebates, which will be processed and retained by the MidPointe Library System 5-23 through 6-5/2019
