City of Springfield Annual Meetings Notice the City

CITY OF SPRINGFIELD ANNUAL MEETINGS NOTICE The City of Springfield's regularly scheduled meetings are hereby publicized. Meetings are held at City Hall, 76 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45502, unless otherwise noted. City Commission: Legislative meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. every other Tuesday starting on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, in the City Hall Forum except for Thursday, January 2, 2020, and Monday, November 2, 2020. The Commission Retreat is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3 and 4, location to be determined; and budget meetings are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, November 16 and 17, in the City Hall Fourth Floor Conference Room. Meetings are to be held not less than 48 times in the calendar year with no two meetings being more than 14 days apart. All the meetings shall be held in the room in City Hall provided for the use of the City Commission unless the City Commission, by motion, determines to hold such meeting at another location, and notice of the meeting location is published in accordance with applicable law. The City Commission may, by like determination and notice, change the day upon which any such regular meeting shall be held. A complete calendar for 2020 may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office, City Hall. Board of Zoning Appeals: Third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum. Meetings will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, and Wednesday, February 19, 2020, due to holiday observance. Mediation Board: January 9, April 2, July 2, and October 1, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. in the Forum Conference Room. Human Relations Board: Second Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room. May be rescheduled if falls on an observed holiday. Historic Landmarks Commission: First Monday following the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Forum. September meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, due to holiday observance. Community Grant Advisory Board: Second Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. in the Forum Conference Room. Community Beautification Committee: First Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Forum Conference Room. Civil Service Commission: Fourth Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Engineering Conference Room except for third Thursday of November and December. City Planning Board: First Monday following the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum. September meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, due to holiday observance. Board of Building Appeals: Third Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room. Municipal Airport Advisory Board: First Wednesday of every other month beginning February, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport, Terminal Building Conference Room, West Blee Road. Joint Economic Development District: Board of Directors meet at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport Terminal Building Conference Room.
