PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AIRPORT LAYOUT PLAN (ALP) Through a master planning process, the City of Springfield is updating the airport layout plan (ALP) for the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport. The ALP is a critical planning tool that depicts the existing airport facilities and planned development initiatives over the next 20 years. It is required by the Federal Aviation Administration and serves as a general blueprint for providing a safe and efficient airport that meets Springfield's existing and forecasted aviation demand. A draft of the ALP depicting the preferred development options for the airport is available for public comment through April 17, 2020, via the City of Springfield's website at www.springfieldohio.gov. 4-3/2020
