Ph: 614-644-3037 email: HClerk@epa.ohio.gov Notice of Receipt of Isolated Wetland Permit Application Ephemeral Stream and Isolated Wetland General Permit Facility Description: Isolated Wetland Level 1 & 2 ID #: DSW401206800 Date of Action: 05/18/2020 Public notice is hereby given that the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) Division of Surface Water (DSW) is issuing a draft general permit for the filling of, and the discharge of dredged material into, isolated wetlands and ephemeral streams. The draft permit will be issued as a final action after consideration of comments submitted in writing. Any person may submit written comments on the draft permit for the administrative record. The general permit is issued under Sections 6111.021 and 6111.03(J)(1) of the Ohio Revised Code. The general permit covers the filling of, and the discharge of dredged material into, Category 1 and Category 2 isolated wetlands, where the proposed project involves the filling of, or the discharge of dredged material into Category 1 and Category 2 isolated wetlands of a total of ½ acre or less and any filling or discharge of dredged material into ephemeral streams. The permit identifies the coverage limitations, notification requirements, review process, permit conditions, mitigation requirements, and the limitations of an approved permit. Interested persons are invited to submit written comments on the general permit. Comments should be submitted by email to epa.dswcomments@epa.ohio.gov or by mail to: Ohio EPA, Division of Surface Water - Permits Processing Unit, P.O.
